WHO WE ARE SEEKING

This role would perfectly suit a Nurse who has been working within the Primary Health sector before, however we would also be very interested in having conversations with those Nurses who are looking to break into the world of general practice nursing.

  • Have evidence of current professional indemnity
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Māori Health and wellbeing and ability to work within a Kaupapa Māori framework
  • Experience of collaboration with both health and non health professionals
  • Hold a current Authorized Vaccinators Certificate (not essential)
  • Be competent in chronic disease management and wound care management
  • Must be able to lead and develop a team of Nurses
  • Be compassionate and friendly
  • Be committed to continuous quality improvement and professional development
  • Proven experience using practice management software especially Medtech (highly desirable)
  • Enjoy working as part of a fun and friendly team
