Practice Nurse

The Role:

As a key member of the Clinical Team you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing efficient and effective communication relating to appointments, procedures and post operative education and care.

You will work closely with clinicians triaging referrals, evaluating incoming laboratory and histology results and assisting with examinations and minor surgical procedures.

This is a varied role and one for a professional who has an interest in general surgical, gastrointestinal and abdomino-pelvic care, and would like to develop further in this field.

What you will need:

To succeed in this role you will need:

• At least two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate
• The ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to multi-task and prioritise workflows
