The Opportunity
Our general practices in central Wellington and wider regions have opportunities for switched on and motivated Practice Nurses looking for a change. As a Practice Nurse you will deliver a suite of comprehensive nursing care to their enrolled patients within the practice. There are permanent full time and part time positions available for suitably qualified nurses.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years' practice nursing experience, primary health care background would be an advantage but is not essential
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can show a long-term commitment and is dedicated to providing excellent, equitable proactive care
- Strong cultural confidence and competence, keeping whānau at the centre of the care provided
