The Opportunity
Our contact is a leading provider of integrated services, and our Asphalt team in Auckland is no exception. We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Asphalt Plant Foreman to lead the day-to-day operations of our asphalt, bitumen and emulsion facility. This is a hands-on leadership role where safety, quality and efficiency are key.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of the asphalt plant and associated equipment
- Ensure consistent product quality and availability to meet customer needs
- Lead and support your shift team, allocating tasks and promoting a positive culture
- Maintain accurate production records and contribute to continuous improvement
Important Skills
They a’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in asphalt plant operations
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Mechanical experience would be an advantage, but not essential
- A commitment to safety, health and environmental standards
- Analytical Thinker, able to identify and maximise improvement opportunities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Computer literacy and a customer focused “can-do” attitude
