This employer is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high quality patient care! This role is within the PACU team, so they are looking for a collaborative individual with a focus on providing quality family-centred, patient care. This opportunity is perfect for someone with prior PACU experience, anaesthesia experience, or even a day-stay coordinator.
About the role:
This role is primarily to use your nursing knowledge and experience to provide evidence-based care for patients. As well as ensuring all holistic assessments, comprehensive planning, skilled interventions and robust evaluations are conducted to the highest standard.
- Completing required documentation to a high standard
- Direct, monitor and evaluate the care being provided by enrolled nurses and healthcare assistants etc.
- Promoting a culturally sensitive environment that enables patient safety, independence, quality of life and health
- Other ad-hoc responsibilities such as delegating tasks, being an active team member and/or project management
About you:
- Registered Nurse with PACU experience (Essential)
- Professional and supportive of your team
- Adaptable and calm under pressure
- Collaborative and confident working with others
- An excellent communicator
- Excellent listening skills
- Organised, methodical and precise, yet flexible
