The Opportunity
Their general practices in central Wellington, Kapiti and the Wairarapa have opportunities for switched on and motivated experienced Nurse Practitioners either seeking locum or permanent roles
As a Nurse Practitioner you:
- Provide primary care services to patients.
- Oversee the treatment and care planning of patients with complex health problems, including assessment, diagnosis, and prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions.
- Share clinical knowledge with members of the clinical team.
- Manage medicine and prescribe.
- Refer patients as required.
A successful applicant will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a primary care Nurse Practitioner
- A master's degree (with prescribing component)
- Specialty knowledge and practice expertise in both an autonomous and collaborative setting
- Experience working with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
