The Role
Deliver psychological assessments and interventions (individual and group)
Engage with young adults, whānau, and community partners to create care plans that address mental health, AOD, and wellbeing needs
Maintain strong relationships with general practices, NGOs, and secondary care providers
Champion equity, cultural safety, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in all work
Contribute to destigmatising mental health in the community
About You
Minimum 2 years’ experience in mental health and/or AOD work with young adults
Registered health professional with current APC
Strong communication, time management, and cultural competency
Able to work both independently and as part of a diverse, collaborative team
Commitment to ongoing learning and equity-driven practice
Desirable:
• Understanding of best-practice psychological approaches
• Experience in primary care settings and use of Medtech or other PMS
