About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Practitioner, which can be an occupational therapist or registered nurse or social worker The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and care to our service users, helping them to achieve their goals and live independently in the community and closely with a team of support workers.
- Providing emotional support and guidance
- Encouraging and supporting clients to participate in social and recreational activities
- Administering medication and supporting clients with health care needs
- One on One and updating care plans
- Recording client progress and maintaining accurate records
- Working as part of a team to provide the best possible care and support to our service users.
- Managing a small caseload
- Working with new referrals
- Holds a current registered and annual Practising Certificates
You will work on a social roster and the hours range from 8 am to 10 pm with on-call every six weeks. Full induction provided an opportunity to grow and develop in the role and attend training workshops and very supportive leadership that will value your expertise.
