About the Role
This employer has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Imaging Technologist to join their team, based in Tauranga. This is a permanent position which will include:
- A mix of general radiography, including theatre and fluoroscopy
- A mix of standard rostered eight hour shifts, between the hours of 8am-5:00pm on Monday to Friday, and some rostered evening work (until 9pm, approximately once a month) and some rostered weekend shifts (4-6.5 hours duration)
About You
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Applicants must be a qualified Medical Imaging Technologist.
- Able to work both within a multidisciplinary team and independently.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including patients and their family/whanau as well as other health care professionals and providers.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Flexible team player and highly self-motivated.
- An understanding of the importance of patient privacy and confidentiality.
