Our client manufactures and pack capsules, tablets and powders for global healthcare market. After a highly successful couple of years, more growth is on the horizon, and they need the right people to assist in the smooth running of this GMP regulated facility.
The Role:
Reporting to the Chief Engineer and working closely with the Production Manager, this exciting new role is focussed on the assembly, errection, commissioning, operation and maintenance of mechanical and process plant and installations.
The successful candidate will:
- Be the first point of contact for engineering support to the production team.
- Assist with maintenance planning, execution; and keep track of progress, daily maintenance activities and requirements.
- Train production staff in any engineering related activities.
- Weld metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate and repair aspects to equipment and lines.
- Put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision using either MIG and or TIG techniques (depending on experience.
- Fit, fabricate and assemble components of plant machinery as required.
About You:
- You will be an extremely organised and positive collaborator with great time management skills
- You will be able to work under pressure and muck in when the going gets tough
- ‘Attention to Detail’ is your middle name
- You will have worked in a manufacturing environment previously and have good insight into Health & Safety.
- Knowledge of GMP certified production methodologies preferred
