About this role:
- Ensure all vehicles returning from hire or being made ready for sale are checked and maintained to company standards
- Carry out pre-hire checks on company vehicles to identify any mechanical or interior issues
- Repair interior vehicle issues/faults to required company standards
- Conduct basic mechanical repairs to various makes and models of the company fleet
- Participate and lead training & development activities to improve personal and team knowledge and service provision
- Facilitate problem-solving and collaboration.
Some of your key qualities will include:
- Pays real attention to detail
- Take pride in your work and be willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in and help wherever needed
- 12-volt electrical, and electronics experience, mechanical skills & knowledge would be an advantage
- Restricted Driver's License is a minimum requirement
- Experience in areas such as plumbing, gas fitting, electrical or carpentry (optional)
- Flexibility to work on the roster, which may include weekends or public holidays
- Highly tuned attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new tasks/skills
- Appreciation for quality assurance
