As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the company's machinery and equipment. You will work closely with the maintenance team to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and upgrades of the production equipment, helping to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
A bit about the role
- Carry out scheduled routine maintenance/inspections of plant and equipment across the site.
- Perform routine task to ensure compliance and reliability of the plant.
- Involvement in "continuous improvement" projects.
- Root cause analysis for persistent problems and oversight of contractors when required.
- Undertake repairs and minor modifications as required.
- Carry out cleaning, painting and other routine tasks as allocated by the Engineering Manager.
A bit about you
- Recent apprenticeship graduates and individuals with trade certifications are welcome to apply.
- Experience or knowledge in welding.
- Experience or knowledge in repairing and service diaphragm pumps.
- Basic pneumatic knowledge.
