Our client is a New Zealand owned financial services organisation and due to their ongoing growth, they are looking to add resource to their insurance offering. Our client is a diversified financial services organisation, and the growth of their insurance product will let them provide kiwi’s with a suite of financial products to meet their changing life stages.
The role?
You will be responsible for providing technical underwriting expertise to enable the growth of their life insurance product. The underwriter will develop and maintain relationships with the network of advisers and assist in the refining of the product offering to meet the needs of those insured and their advisers. This is an exciting time for our client as they look to bring new products to market and this role will be pivotal in their ongoing success of their insurance offering.
What will you need?
To succeed in this role you will need;
- Previous Life Underwriting experience and industry qualifications
- The ability to develop and maintain relationships with advisers and insurers
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
