Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role

Joining our Regulatory Policy team, this is a critical role for Taumata Arowai as we start to build the regulatory measures for wastewater and stormwater. You will provide policy advice and technical expertise to develop new regulatory measures specific to wastewater systems.

This role will lead a programme of work to:

  • Implement new wastewater regulatory measures.
  • Implement a national level register for wastewater networks.
  • Implement a national level monitoring and reporting regime for wastewater and stormwater networks.

As well as this, you will contribute to the sourcing and engagement of external resource to support this programme of work.

  • Has experience translating legislation into operational policy, procedures and business processes.
  • Has experience within a regulatory environment within central or local government.

Public Sector/Local Government Applicants:

If you are seeking a development opportunity or to gain experience working for a Crown Entity in the wider public service but want to retain job security at the end of the fixed term period then we are able to work with your current employer to explore an inter-agency secondment. Apply or get in touch with us to discuss this further.

You must have a legal right to work in New Zealand at the time of submitting your application.
