A bit about the role
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating.
- Analyze and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Research and gather data on materials, subcontractor pricing, and market trends.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to prepare cost breakdowns and reports.
A bit about you
- A Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
- Eagerness to learn and develop estimating skills.
