The Role
You'll lead the organisation’s core IT service delivery and infrastructure functions. Your focus will be on alignment, assurance and continuous improvement rather than day-to-day technical delivery.
You’ll provide leadership across IT Service Delivery, Infrastructure & Platforms, and contract governance, ensuring services are reliable, secure and delivering value. This role plays a critical part in managing risk, strengthening vendor performance, and embedding best-practice service management across the organisation.
- Setting strategic direction for IT services, infrastructure and platforms
- Leading and supporting senior team leaders and a contracts management function
- Ensuring high levels of service reliability, resilience and performance
- Overseeing IT governance, vendor management and service assurance
- Championing IT service management and continuous improvement practices
- Providing executive-level advice on risk, dependencies and service outcomes
- Supporting business continuity, incident and change management frameworks
- Building strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners
About You
You’re a seasoned IT leader who has operated in complex environments and understands how to balance strategic oversight with operational realities. You’re comfortable leading leaders, influencing at senior levels, and stepping back from delivery to focus on governance, prioritisation and performance.
You bring deep experience across IT infrastructure, service delivery and vendor management, along with a strong service mindset. You’re known for building capable teams, driving reliability, and lifting service maturity - all while keeping people and purpose at the centre.
- Significant senior leadership experience in IT or digital services
- Strong background in IT infrastructure, service delivery and vendor management
- Proven experience leading other leaders and cross-functional teams
- Confidence operating at an enterprise level across governance and assurance
- Experience improving service reliability, resilience and customer outcomes
- A collaborative, values-driven leadership style
