Here's a bit about what you can expect in this role:
* A focus on native Android development (though opportunities exist for some iOS and backend development).
* Work with modern Android tools and practices - Android Studio, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, coroutines, Grade, reactive architecture, unit testing, UI testing
* Develop and maintain projects, libraries, services, tools, processes, and practices to enable their internal teams and give their mobile users world-class experiences.
* Proactively lead the research and investigation to contribute new ideas that keep us at the forefront of innovation.
* As a member of the mobile guild, you'll learn from others around the company and share your knowledge.
* Be seen as a champion of their values, living these daily, creating and fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.
What you'll bring to the team:
* A deep passion for technology and collaboration
* An Intermediate (3+ years) level of experience in mobile software development experience
* Experience working in a team environment
* Experience developing mobile applications using modern patterns, frameworks and languages
* Ideally some experience in setting up and maintaining projects and CI/CD pipelines (Gradle, Bitrise, GitLab, TeamCity etc.)
* Ideally, experience in defining, advocating for, and applying software development best practices
* Ideally, experience in supporting, mentoring, and coaching members of the team.
