Inside Sales Account Manager (Motors)

Motors is one of our core business units and we're delighted to be able to call ourselves NZ's most frequented website for buying and selling vehicles. Due to an internal movement we're looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager in Auckland.

Trade Me is one of New Zealand's most popular websites with over four million members and more than 650,000 Kiwis visiting our site every day.

This role is vital in helping our Motors Sales team retain our current customers, while also helping us grow by acquiring new business. This is an Inside Sales position therefore you'll be building relationships through phone and email communication. You will spend approximately 50% of your time focussing on retention and package upgrades of an allocated portfolio of customers. The other 50% of the time you will be supporting the Motors Sales team with in depth reporting, data & insights

Here's what you can expect from this role:

* Develop a monthly sales cycle to achieve revenue targets, use customer grading and segmentation tools to identify areas of opportunity.

* Explore the needs of your clients, get to know the ins and outs of their businesses and learn how to best help them achieve results.

* Develop tailored reporting that can be shared with each client and the Motors Account Managers, bringing to life key insights that will apply some pressure to upgrade their current package.

* Develop industry knowledge of the Motors market by staying up to date with key insights and industry trends.

* Support the Account Managers with the development of reporting templates, data & insights for their accounts as and when required

What you will bring to our team:

* 3+ years' previous account management and/or Sales Support experience

* A good understanding of the full sales cycle and Account Management

* Experience in selling within a digital media, advertising or Motors environment.

* You'll have a proven background in networking, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders with the ability to adapt your communication style when required.

* You know how to prioritise and self-manage your workload.

* You're a team player and work well with others, but also have the ability to work autonomously.
