The Role
The successful candidate will drive the alignment of enterprise architecture, security governance, and technology operations with the overarching business strategy, acting as a key advisor to senior leadership on architectural standards and pragmatic digital transformation roadmaps.
Key Accountabilities:
- Enterprise & Cloud Architecture Vision: Define and drive the architectural vision for a secure, enterprise-grade hybrid and multi-cloud environment, with primary technical focus on Azure and AWS solution design and delivery.
- Security Strategy & Execution: Establish and implement a robust cloud security architecture, incorporating modern frameworks such as Zero Trust, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001 standards.
- DevSecOps & Automation Leadership: Lead the strategic adoption and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Bicep and Pulumi to enhance system auditability and accelerate delivery pipelines.
- Data Platform Security Governance: Architect secure, governed data and analytics platforms, ensuring metadata-driven management and strictly controlled access.
- Risk, Compliance, and Change Management: Serve as the technical lead for all IT audits, actively manage the infrastructure security risk registry, and chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
- Executive Consulting: Act as a trusted technical partner to senior management, effectively translating complex technical risks and strategic roadmaps into clear, business-focused outcomes.
About You
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven history in solutions architecture and deep, hands-on expertise within enterprise cloud ecosystems.
- Leadership Experience: Prior experience in a dedicated Solutions Architecture or Infrastructure Leadership capacity.
- Cloud Platforms Mastery: Expert-level, hands-on proficiency across both Microsoft Azure (including adherence to the Cloud Adoption Framework) and AWS.
- Security Depth: Demonstrated technical expertise in critical areas including Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and critical infrastructure defense.
- Technical Stack Familiarity: Experience with both legacy systems (e.g., VMware/Hyper-V, SQL Failover Clustering) and modern network connectivity models.
- Team and Culture Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and foster a strong "security-first" culture within globally distributed engineering teams.
- Valued Certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation, or Kubernetes are highly desirable.
