Whilst this is an Industrial Electrician role, given the recent weather events, this role requires someone with flexibility to muck in to assist the wider team as they work towards business as usual.
A bit about the role
This employer is seeking a highly motivated Industrial Shift Electrician to join their Hawkes Bay operation, responsible for providing hands on practical electrical expertise and lead assigned tasks and projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical support on systems and equipment including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a range of industrial electrical equipment.
Reporting to the Electrical Lead, this role requires a strong focus on electrical performance and reliability, optimisation and control systems, resolving electrical breakdowns and participating in preventative maintenance, monitoring and reviewing electrical performance and continuous improvement.
A bit about you
- 3 years industrial and/or domestic electrical experience
- Improvement driven with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
