Experience is a bonus but training can be given.
We are a small company that aims to keep our customers happy by making sure it is done right the first time, with the aim of expanding in the Canterbury region. We carry out a range of jobs everyday so you'll never be doing the same thing. These may include, machinery servicing, machinery repairs, diagnostics, hydraulic repairs hose, rams and pumps/motors, major engine over hauls, transmission repairs, engineering and responding to breakdowns. This will involve some workshop jobs and also field work.
The successful applicant will need to have these key aspects:
- A willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Problem solving ability
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Good written and communication skills
- Physically fit
- Self motivated
- Good with people
- Mechanical knowledge
- Use diagnostic tools.
- Able to diagnose faults competently
A full drivers licence is needed as you will be required to drive all over Canterbury.
Work days are generally Mon-Fri, with rostered weekends on for any call outs.
Start date is flexible but immediate would preferable.
