About the Role
They are an established service provider in the High Voltage electrical industry. They are currently seeking to fill multiple positions in Christchurch for High Voltage Protection Technicians, to work within their maintenance and projects team.
In this role, you will be part of a growing team of dedicated and highly skilled staff, working in a high-voltage substation environment.
This role will be working within their Maintenance and Projects Divisions, primarily responsible for working as part of a team that installs, maintains, and repairs High Voltage Sub Stations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; Testing, Programming, Reporting, Fault diagnostics, completing planned maintenance works, installing HV and substation equipment, and being part of other ad hoc project works.
This is a varied role and you will be part of an experienced team working autonomously mostly in Christchurch and the occasional Twizel works.
About the You
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a tertiary qualification with a minimum of 4 years of technical experience. Experience with HV, substation, or power transmission is desirable.
