The Role
In this role, you will lead a high-performing team of architects, setting strategic direction across all architectural disciplines—from enterprise and solution architecture to data, security, and infrastructure. You’ll be instrumental in simplifying and modernising legacy systems, embedding architecture standards, and scaling cloud-native technologies that support long-term business goals.
- Providing architectural leadership across the enterprise, with a focus on future-ready, composable platforms
- Leading and mentoring a multi-disciplinary architecture team across software, infrastructure, cloud, data, and security domains
- Driving technology modernisation, including the uplift of legacy systems to modern, cloud-native solutions
- Defining and embedding enterprise architecture standards and governance models across all business units
- Working closely with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align architecture with strategic objectives
About You
- Significant experience in senior architecture leadership roles within large and complex environments such as data, security, software, systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF)
- Strong grasp of cloud strategy, microservices, integration patterns, and data and security architecture
- Proven ability to lead architectural governance, reduce technical debt, and deliver major transformation programmes
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence executive and external stakeholders
