The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Food Safety and Compliance Manager and collaborating with key stakeholders across the business, the purpose of this exciting new role is to promote and facilitate food safety and regulatory activities whilst helping to embed a food safety culture second to none.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Championing food safety and quality within the manufacturing environment
- Supporting the business to excel in audits (including FSSC22000 and HACCP)
- Managing quality systems for new projects involving impending line extensions
- Performing supplier assessments
- Assisting with customer complaints and investigations
Desired Skills:
- A BSc / BTech (food) or similar
- Food Safety and Quality Assurance experience within a food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of export documentation such as OMARs
- The adaptability to quickly come up to speed with a variety of Quality Systems
- Strong relationship building & collaboration ability
