They are looking for someone who:
- Is keen to take a step up in their management career to be part of a corporate leadership team leading and driving the strategic direction of the organisation.
- Is a Chartered Account with at least five years’ experience post qualification and understands the financial planning process in the State sector.
- Is experienced in providing strategic financial advice to leadership teams and the ability to work within a Crown entity environment.
- Has the ability to work with complexity and ambiguity, to be innovative and think on their feet and know how to grow and nurture a team will be critical skills.
- Can demonstrate commitment to the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to developing their own capability in te ao Māori.
- Possesses a high level of resilience and the ability to work effectively under pressure in an ever-changing and ambiguous environment.
- Is adept at managing and responding to multiple, competing priorities.
