About the Role
Facility Managers play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of aged care homes while maintaining high standards of resident care and team leadership. These roles typically involve responsibility for both the clinical oversight and the non-clinical/business operations of a facility.Responsibilities may include:
- Leading and supporting clinical and care teams
- Overseeing day-to-day operations of the facility
- Managing staffing, rosters, budgets, and compliance requirements
- Ensuring high-quality care standards and resident wellbeing
- Implementing and maintaining care plans
- Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse with current NZ registration
- Experience working within the aged care sector
- Minimum 1 year experience managing the non-clinical/business side of a facility (such as staffing, operations, budgets, or compliance)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to balance clinical oversight with operational management
Salary:
Typical Facility Manager salaries range from $110,000 – $140,000 per year, depending on experience and facility size.
