Skill based requirements we are looking for:
- MIG / TIG / ARC welding various fabricated
- Mild Steel & Stainless Steel.
- Installing, repairing & inspecting components
- Interpret & read engineering drawings.
- Determine required equipment / welding method.
- Develop templates to hold & align parts.
- Cutting, grinding & other workshop duties
- Assist with fabrication in workshop if required.
- Both Site & Workshop, able to travel.
Requirements for the job:
- 3 years hands-on Welding experience
- Current welding tickets a bonus
- Able to weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Weld accurately, with precision & a good finish
- Ability to measure / cut accurately / weld neatly.
- Competent with a variety of hand, power tools & machinery
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Good Numeracy, verbal and written English skills.
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, taking pride in your work.
- Medically and physically fit
- Full clean NZ Driver’s license.
- Demonstrate & maintain good Health & Safety
Wage: Competitive $/h rate neg with skills & experience
Plus: Overtime (when available) & Onsite parking
Hours: Min 40 hrs/week – Mon-Fri
