Our client is a long established family company which manufacturers, services & supplies industrial and commercial air conditioning, refrigeration & acoustic equipment to the Australasian market.
Based in Auckland, and due to increasing demand, they are seeking individuals with great hands-on skills, who have experience in working with sheet metal and fabrication to join their new twilight shift team.
The hours are 3.30pm to 12 midnight Monday to Friday with regular overtime available including some Saturday work, of course starting later to enable rest time from Friday.
Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will work within a large, friendly team who all work together being responsible for the construction, assembly and finishing of their wide range of ducting and acoustic products. The ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:
- Excellent hands-on skills using an array of machinery and hand tool operations
- Have sheet metal experience with an engineering background
- An understanding of following drawings and dimensions etc.
- Enjoy working in an industrial environment on different projects
- Used to physical work and being on your feet all day
- Have a positive, enthusiastic and hard-working attitude
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Love working in a team environment and assisting others
- Be a quick learner, adaptable and able to pick up new skills if required
Our client offers excellent training wherever needed, a good hourly rate with overtime available at time + 1/4 after 40 hours including other company benefits. A uniform will be provided and there is always a potential path for career growth.
