‍This is a well-established national contractor with a strong presence across the regions and a dominant position within the retirement and multi-unit sector.With a solid forward pipeline across negotiated and competitive work, the Southern region is now looking to strengthen its pre-construction capability with the appointment of an experienced Estimator.The business operates with regional autonomy, clear accountability, and a leadership team that promotes from within.

‍The Role

‍This is a predominantly pre-construction focused position, responsible for managing the full tender lifecycle across the Southern region.You will:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and take-offs
• Manage subcontractor pricing and scope clarification
• Lead tender submissions from opportunity through to award
• Contribute to bid strategy and methodology
• Work closely with Project Managers and QS's to ensure a clean handover into delivery
• Support both negotiated and competitive tenders (currently a balanced mix)

This role will initially cover Southern projects, with potential to support overflow work nationally as required.What We’re Looking ForYou’ll ideally bring:

• Proven commercial estimation experience on multi-unit, retirement, apartments or similar projects
• Strong take-off capability and cost planning skills
• Confidence managing full tenders independently
• Solid subcontractor engagement and market knowledge
• The ability to balance detail with deadlines
