The Role
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Lead the delivery of environmental compliance obligations under the Resource Management Act (RMA), including coaching and mentoring operational teams.
- Develop and manage systems for tracking and reporting RMA compliance using Microsoft Dynamics and Outlook software.
- Support site and project teams in developing and implementing environmental management plans and risk controls.
- Conduct audits and investigations, and guide teams in responding to environmental incidents.
- Provide monthly reporting on environmental performance, including KPIs, incidents, audits, and training.
About You
- Environmental Planning qualification and experience.
- Proven environmental management expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a culture that supports environmental excellence.
- Comprehensive understanding of New Zealand environmental legislation and standards.
- Strong knowledge of work quality standards and auditing practices.
