About the job
- There are 2 endoscopy rooms here supporting the specialist centre clinic
- Mainly light sedation. You’ll be pre assessing patients, working in room, chaperinging, cleaning scopes and supporting the respiratory physician and 4 Gastroenterologists
- A tech savvy and progressive bunch, this is a huge area of growth for the health sector - investing in preventative and diagnostic medicine. They have started capsule endoscopy and manometry testing.
- On offer is 0.8 FTE (or less) with the ability to flex up and down, Monday to Friday
About you
- Registered Nurse with current APC.
- Strong customer focus, committed to improvement initiatives and your own professional development.
- You’ll ideally have small procedure experience and knowledge of care of general anaesthetic and conscious sedation patients
- Professional and eager to earn, curious and interested
- An excellent communicator with brilliant listening skills
- Organised, methodical and precise, with excellent attention to detail
- A team player who interacts well with others
