We are an established service provider in the High Voltage electrical industry. We partner with leading NZ clients providing maintenance, installation, and construction services to a range of substation, industrial & commercial assets.
This is a full-time, permanent role at minimum 40 hours a week, 7am – 3.30pm
$35 per/hour - $37 per/hour (Circa) rate is dependent on experience
Key Deliverables
- Provide maintenance and assemble HV systems, disconnectors wiring and panels
- Deliver electrical and high-voltage maintenance across substation, industrial and commercial assets.
- The work will range from maintenance, installation and commissioning transformers, circuit breakers, voltage transformers, current transformers, protection relays, battery banks and LV electrical work
- Perform troubleshooting, fault finding and diagnostics on HV Electrical assets
- Installation of transformers and ring main units (RMU)
- Ensure work is carried out safely as per our SHEQ Policies & Procedures
About you
- The successful candidate will have a relevant experience along with:
- Electrical registration from Electrical Workers Registration Board
- Qualifications in Electrical Fitting (Registered Electrician)
- White Card
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of electrical theory and electrical testing
- Preferably have experience in the High Voltage electrical industry. However, commercial and industrial electricians will be considered.
- Demonstrate high levels of understanding of and adherence to the Health and Safety practices and regulations of the High Voltage Industry
