Electrical Fitter/Fault Person

About the Role:

Our contact is seeking an experienced and motivated Faultsperson to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about safety, reliability, and delivering excellent service.

Role Responsibilities:

- Carrying out approved switching on network equipment for planned and unplanned work

- Testing and earthing equipment

- Responding to faults, investigating issues, isolating problems, and restoring power

- Providing emergency response services, including electrical isolation and hazard management at incident scenes

- Ensuring all work meets operational, regulatory, and customer requirements

- Delivering on performance targets and using strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues quickly

Experience:

‍
-Current electrical registration

-HT licence

-Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrician or Line Mechanic

-At least 2 years’ experience post-registration

-Crane and EPV experience

-Previous standby and switching experience (preferred)

-Strong commitment to health and safety with an excellent safety record

-A proactive, solutions-focused mindset

-Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
