About this role:
This organisation is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop electrical subsystems for groundbreaking products and systems. From conceptualisation to continuous enhancement, you will contribute to both product design and project execution, ensuring seamless integration of electrical systems, hardware selection, panel design, and schematic creation.
You will have a flair for innovative design and a commitment to surpassing customer expectations with a passion for providing the highest standards of performance and creativity.
Your key tasks will be:
- Electrical Schematics design and maintenance
- Electrical subsystem/hardware specification & selection of existing & NPD
- Bills of Materials creation and maintenance
- Electrical Panel design
- Field device/Instrumentation selection
- System level wiring diagrams, Low Voltage 3ph Distribution
- IP Network drawings
What you’ll bring:
- Regulatory Compliance eg. IEC/AS/NZS/NEMA standards
- 2D CAD (+3D preferable) skills
- Familiar with mobile machinery (advantageous)
- Low voltage experience
- EC&I Engineering experience
