About the Role
This experienced Electrical Control Room Operator will provide monitoring, operation, and maintenance on a variety of the Client's utilities including their electrical equipment, boilers, transformers, switching, HV distribution, and related equipment whilst maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
Due to retirement, we are looking to fill this role. This ECR Operator role is a full-time role but this is also open to those keen for a part-time or job share type of role. As long as you are happy to be a part of a shift roster. This is the only position like it! Join this unique and exciting opportunity!
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong data entry ability
- Electrical Operations Background
- NZ Electrical Registration preferred
- Be able to work shifts
- Knowledge of Tasman Power System an advantage
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Fluent English speaking and writing ability
- Be computer literate with a good working knowledge of the MS Office package
- Be willing to be upskilled
- Have a valid class 1 driver's license
