Senior Domain Architect - Data Expert

The Role

This high-impact role involves providing strategic technical leadership of architecture across domains and influencing enterprise-wide technology decisions.

The architect will lead the Data Architecture Strategy for a major transformation program, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and standards. You will be a trusted adviser who champions data quality, governance, and ethical use, while driving innovation and mentoring data specialists.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development of the Data Architecture Strategy for large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Provide strategic technical leadership and architectural oversight across the entire data lifecycle.
• Establish and govern principles, standards, and models for data management, integration, platforms, and analytics.
• Develop and refresh Data, Technology, and Capability Roadmaps, advising leaders on required solutions and projects.
• Champion data quality, governance, and ethical use of data across the organisation.
• Mentor and guide data architects and specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

About You

• Solid architecture experience in large, complex organisations, preferably within large-scale digital transformations.
• Deep expertise in Data Architecture disciplines, including data platforms, governance, integration, and analytics.
• Deep domain-specific knowledge and best practices of data, such as Master Data Management and data integration.
• Proven ability to Lead the development of technology strategies, roadmaps, and architectural plans.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, with experience working in Agile environments
