About the role
This well-known organisation seeking a team lead or an experienced Radiologist with Breast Radiology subspeciality to join their team
You will report to the General Manager Radiology
Position:
- 24 – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Work as the part of the team
- Reading of mammograms and performing radiological procedures to achieve the best clinical outcome
- To participate fully in the multi-disciplinary team
- HR recruit
- Promote radiology input and back up for the clinical staff
- Provide safety and medical mentoring
- Provide accurate and timely diagnosis and reports
- Communicate clearly and demonstrate interpersonal and professional care with patients
Key Task:
- Breast Ultrasound
- Ultrasound guided and stereotactic core biopsies
- Clinical assessment, bilateral ultrasound
- Reporting of screening and diagnostic mammograms within 24hrs of X-ray
- Localisation of impalpable lesions
- MRI reporting services
