About
Two years ago, this employer started with a focus on all things Covid. They have since morphed into a small and agile team that designs and delivers immunisations services specific to the communities needs.
With a priority focus on Maori and Pacific people, their team contacts people to discuss national scheduled immunisation options, provides immunisations to whanau in their homes and in community-based settings. The key purpose of this role is to provide 'hands on' senior nursing experience across immunisations, clinical health assessments, and to lead their services in a way that meets the community's needs. They are looking to expand their service delivery model and need a senior nurse to lead out this work.
They cover the Wellington area and do a lot of partnership work with their other PHO colleagues, and existing community services. As they move into connecting more people to access existing health services, they are looking for a senior, energetic, creative thinking registered nurse to join their team. They work with the philosophy that nothing is a barrier, and are solutions focussed, creating bespoke responses where required. They are proud to place Maori, Pacific and tangata whaikaha at the centre of their plans and service delivery.
If you are a senior registered nurse, whole of life vaccinator who has an understanding, or lived experience in working with Maori or Pacific people, make sure to contact your job search specialist.
This role can be full time or part time, and is fixed until 30th June 2024 with the potential of it extending.
