CNC LASER OPERATOR (Night Shift)

An Auckland Sheetmetal company specialising in steel are looking for a reliable, experienced production focused CNC Laser Operator, to join their ever-expanding Night Shift team.

Main Responsibilities

Previous CNC Laser operating experience essential
CNC Laser operating cutting Carbon Steel Production work focused
Co2 Carbon Steel processing
Reading & working with Engineering Drawings
Advantage if previously operated a CNC LVD Laser cutting machine
Complete work to a pre-set schedule with minimal supervision
Previous forklift or overhead gantry crane experience a big advantage
Healthy and Safety awareness very important
Ensuring attention to detail so tasks are completed right first time
Currently be living in NZ & have the right to work in NZ (including work visas)

Job Details:

Wage: $25-$30/hr neg with skills & experience

Overtime: Overtime available (1½)

Allowance: Shift allowance (night shift)

Hours: Night Shift (4.15pm – 2.45am) Mon to Thurs

Location: East Tamaki

Type: Permanent Fulltime Position

Start: ASAP
