Clinical Resource Nurse - Orthopaedics

THE LATEST OPPORTUNITY
This Hospital now boasts 5 operating Theatres with a 6th to be added in the not too distant future. Nurses are the cornerstone of the Hospital and the value they bring does not go unnoticed. An Registered Nurse here you can gain further development in partnership with one of the most well known private facilities in Auckland.  

THE ROLE
This is a senior nursing position, working alongside the Theatre Coordinator to provide clinical support and coordinate the resources required to ensure smooth running of all orthopaedic specialties.

  • Provide coordination for your specialised Theatre team
  • Oversight of care for Orthopaedic patients
  • Guide and mentor your team
  • Provide comfort and care for patients throughout their theatre experience
  • Create and maintain strong clinical relationships with specialists
  • Provide high acuity levels of nursing to patients in an acute setting
  • Work as part of a theatre team
  • Pre op, perioperative and postoperative theatre support.
  • Contribute to quality improvement
  • Flexibility to work extra hours as required

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in a theatre setting, preferably within an Orthopaedic setting
  • Ideally you will be a generalist able to work across multiple specialties, but please talk to us if you have a preferred specialty.
  • Professional and eager to earn.
  • Curious and interested

  • Organised, methodical and precise, yet flexible
