Are you an experienced allied health professional ready to lead with integrity, expertise, and heart?

A large and well reputable Allied Health service are seeking a Clinical Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team in Sydenham, Christchurch, supporting excellence across our vocational rehabilitation services.

This is a pivotal leadership role, working alongside the Regional Manager and Team Leads.

About the Role:

At the core of this position is a deep commitment to clinical excellence and doing what’s right for every client. You’ll set and uphold high standards of care, ensuring decisions are grounded in evidence, ethics, and truly client-centred thinking.

This role goes beyond meeting targets and navigating policy (though you’ll be confident doing both). It’s about lifting the bar, empowering clinicians to perform at their best, and ensuring every recommendation reflects care we’re proud to stand behind.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in the allied health sector
  • Strong expertise in vocational rehabilitation
  • In-depth operational knowledge of ACC and vocational rehabilitation frameworks
  • A passion for clinical leadership and professional development
  • Confidence navigating contractual standards and reporting tools

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing clinical leadership, guidance, and second opinions to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
  • Promoting evidence-based practice and sound clinical decision-making
  • Partnering with local leaders to deliver integrated, client-focused care
  • Maintaining a clinical caseload aligned with best practice and contractual requirements
  • Supporting referral triage and ensuring timely, effective service delivery
  • Using data and reporting insights to identify opportunities to enhance client outcomes
  • Leading learning and development initiatives, mentoring clinicians, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence

Role/Company Benefits

  • Competitive salary package ($105,000–$120,000)
  • Hours are Mon to Fri business hours
  • Monthly bonus scheme
  • Annual professional development budget
  • Clear leadership pathways for future growth
  • Ongoing manager feedback and clinical mentorship focused on your development
  • A genuinely positive team culture – regular social events, weekly treats, and recognition awards
  • Wellbeing initiatives including annual eye exams, flu vaccinations, and full access to EAP services

If you’re passionate about clinical quality, vocational rehabilitation, and making a meaningful difference in people’s recovery journeys, our network partner would love to hear from you.
