The role
You'll be working across a variety of civil infrastructure projects, taking ownership of design work and contributing to practical, buildable solutions.
This is a role where you'll be trusted to think, challenge ideas, and bring forward better ways of doing things.
Your work will include:
- Roading and geometric design for national, local government, and private projects
- 3D modelling across roading, retaining walls, and stormwater systems
- Stormwater assessments, including hydrological and hydraulic analysis
- Designing practical, compliant stormwater solutions
- Preparing technical reports and supporting documentation
- Producing accurate quantities from 3D models
What you'll bring
You're someone who enjoys getting into the detail, but also understands the bigger picture. You're curious, solutions-focused, and not afraid to challenge the norm if there's a better way.
- NZDE qualification or higher
- Around 5+ years' experience in civil/roading engineering
- Strong capability in 12D or Civil3D and AutoCAD
- Solid understanding of design standards and industry requirements
- Ability to think critically and deliver practical, buildable outcomes
