About The Role

Instigate your career in a role that offers the opportunity to work with clients, families and carers. As an Intake and Follow Up Worker - Clinical, you will be responsible for providing support to clients who have complex needs. You will also be involved in assessing the needs of those referred to the service, as well as developing plans for their ongoing care. This role is highly rewarding and provides an excellent platform for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to clients in the form of advice, guidance and referrals.

• Follow up with clients to ensure their needs are being met.

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.

• Liaise with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans for clients.

• Monitor the effectiveness of services provided and suggest improvements where necessary.

Skills & Experience

• A recognised tertiary qualification in a therapeutic field (counselling, psychotherapy or psychology) and hold a current APC demonstrating fitness of practice

• Regular engagement in clinical supervision and an ongoing commitment to professional development

• Knowledge of the Treaty of Waitangi and a commitment to providing a culturally competent service

• Demonstrated ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those who are vulnerable or marginalised
