About this role:
This organisation is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer with strong experience across Power BI, SQL, and Azure data platforms. You'll play a key role in developing and enhancing reporting and analytics solutions that empower teams to access the insights they need—when they need them.
This role sits within a collaborative, forward-thinking technology team, where you’ll help shape the BI roadmap and make a tangible difference in how data is consumed across the organisation.
What you’ll do:
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualisations
- Optimise SQL queries and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
- Leverage Azure data services to build scalable, secure BI solutions
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and performance are maintained across all reporting assets
- Contribute to data modelling and documentation to support self-service analytics
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience working with Power BI, including DAX and data modelling
- Strong SQL skills with experience in data manipulation and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Azure data tools (e.g. Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics)
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A collaborative, problem-solving mindset and a passion for data-driven outcomes
