About this role:
Education
- Auto Electrical experience and/or qualifications will be highly regarded
Criteria (advantageous)
- Worked with the exterior and interior of motorhomes and caravans in the past
- Trade certification or experience in areas such as plumbing, gas fitting, electrical or carpentry
- Experience in woodwork/cabinet making
- LPG certification would be a bonus
- 240V electrical certification would be a bonus
Criteria (expected)
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Being responsible for the quality and completion of own tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and requests as directed
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent command of English - both written and spoken
- Willingness to learn new tasks/skills.
- Participate in training/development activities to improve personal and team knowledge and service provision
Responsibilities
- Mechanical servicing and maintenance of a range of commercial vans - European and non-European
- Restore vehicles as part of the refurbishment program to prescribed standards
- Fit accessories as part of the sales contract and items sold in the Retail Shop
- Ensure all assigned daily tasks are actioned in a timely manner
- Work as part of the team to achieve productivity targets
- Assisting with the upkeep and cleaning of the branch sites and premises
- Actively participate in the Health and Safety system
