A bit about the role
We're seeking a driven, autonomous and confident senior draftsperson to join this awesome Services team to drive, promote, design and detail their windows and doors products to project specifiers and to continue market share and confidence in their products on some of NZ's most exciting construction projects.
You will be the go to person with sound knowledge of all products, liaising with external Engineers on projects of varying scales throughout NZ whilst assisting with compliance documentation, CAD detailing and other critical drafting requirements in line with this well-established and reputable NZ privately owned business.
Other key requirements of the role
- Liaison with external stakeholders (engineers, architects, designers, specifiers and consultants)
- Preparation of CAD installation details and product information in line with project delivery milestones
- 5+ years experience in detailing, drafting, design in aluminium or glass manufacturing
- Experience of aluminium joinery systems and familiarity with NZ construction methods
- AutoCAD software experience
- Relevant tertiary or trade qualification is desirable
