About the job
- As an Anaesthetic Technician you'll be responsible for a high standard of clinical assistance, patient management care including correct identification and safe positioning, equipment preparation and management including prep of machines, patient monitoring equipment, cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation.
- You'll provide direct assistance with induction of general and local anaesthesia as well as assistance with spinal, epidural, and regional anaesthetic and surgical procedures.
- There is a wide variety of specialities here - paediatrics, dental, ophthalmology, plastics etc... Big and interesting surgeries, but low acuity. All patients are healthy.
- On offer is Monday to Friday, family friendly shifts. They are usually 8 hour shifts 07:00 – 15:30 & 11:00 – 19:30. Occasionally they flex up to 10 hour on one day, 6 on another.
- No nights, No on call. No weekends.

Skills and attributes required
You must be qualified as an Anaesthetic Technician, with a current practising certificate. You'll have exceptional communication skills, be committed to improvement initiatives and your own professional development, a team player with a passion for delivery of quality patient care.
They are open to RNAA's who would enjoy working dual shifts and happy to support keeping both skills up to date.
