About us
We provide daytime and after-hours medical and accident care for the Dunedin community and visitors to the city. We have a fracture clinic and x-ray services on-site and provide immigration medicals by appointment. We interact with a wide range of people and take pride in supporting the health needs of those who use our services. We are centrally located and operate 365 days a year from 8 am to 10 pm.
About the role
We are seeking experienced registered nurses to join our team on a permanent part or full-time basis.
The role includes working collegially as part of our clinical team, supporting our doctors, providing high standards of patient care and working positively across the organisation. The role covers all aspects of primary care, including supporting fracture management and ensuring our service and clinics run efficiently. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across our 7-day-a-week roster is desired.
About you
You will be an experienced primary care or emergency nurse who is confident, warm and flexible with strong organisation and communication skills. You will have high standards of personal integrity and will respect patient and clinic privacy. You will be committed to continuous improvement, enthusiastic about new learning opportunities and supporting organisational change.
You will be passionate about working as part of a dedicated healthcare team to provide appropriate and professional patient care.
You will have the computer literacy and keyboard skills needed to fulfil the role, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to multi-task and will be comfortable working in a busy clinical environment.
Qualifications and experience
Prior experience using MedTech is desired but not essential.
