Software Engineer
Worked on the Cryptographic Applications Team developing custom cryptographic systems such as x509 certificate issuance and software signing infrastructure, which is used to secure over 2000 products.
Subject Matter Expert for a custom cryptographic challenge and response system, used to grant support staff with elevated privileges on customers devices in a secure and phishing- resistant way.
Created a system to analyze and audit the entire backlog of issued certificates to check for quality issues, including a dashboard with visualizations to identify trends. The validation system was later added to the realtime certificate issuance process.
Evaluated existing systems for quantum readiness, designed upgrades to add support for post-quantum cryptography, and gave educational presentations about PQC.
Achieved trusted status, which allowed me access to use the companies root CA key for software signing, and for use in the challenge and response system.
