EXPERIENCE

HSEQ Engineer | September 2025 – Present

·       Currently serving as a safety and environment engineer for our client FRAMATOME, I am responsible for deploying the company’s safety policies and managing the waste disposal processes in a nuclear production and research plant. My primary contribution involves developing and implementing various security, safety, and environmental management processes and policies. I specifically focus on ensuring compliance with regulations governing chemical use and storage, the safety of all operations involving uranium, and the general risks common to other industries.

HSE Engineer | April 2025 – June 2025

·       Deployed on a remediation site, I ensured the upkeep of HSE standards. The site presented challenges due to the combination of construction and chemical industry risks, along with the number of subcontractors involved. In addition to adhering to company standards, I also ensured the application of ISO standards 9001, 14001, and 45001, as well as compliance with ADR regulations for the shipping of dangerous materials.

All Trades Work Engineer | April 2024 – April 2025

·       Deployed as an all-trades work engineer for the CEA (Atomic Energy Institute), I was responsible for planning, budgeting, and overseeing all maintenance and improvement works for the production and research site. In this role, I ensured that the site was consistently operated at optimal performance across all areas. This position has provided me with extensive technical knowledge in all aspects of maintenance and improvement work that may be required in any industry, while holding me to the highest standards of quality and safety.

HSE Engineer | October 2023 – April 2024

·       Hired as a HSE engineer for the nuclear industry branch of the company. There I worked on site with a mix of HSE, ESG and site manager missions such as IMS creation, risk assessment, or site surveying. The health, safety and environment aspects were extensive to ensure the total safety of both the CEA workers and the civilians and thus demanded the greatest attention of any industry. My focus was establishing an integrated management system designed to operate independently of a dedicated HSE manager, to reduce costs while improving the HSE standards of the plants.

EDUCATION

Masters Degree in Economics and Environmental Management (NZQCF Level 9) | 2021 – 2023

·       This Master’s program emphasized hands-on experience, with a six-month first-year internship and a second-year work-study placement. I completed both internships as an HSE Coordinator at Colas Environnement (Bouygues Group), a company specializing in soil and water remediation. My responsibilities included conducting site audits, delivering HSE training sessions, collecting employee feedback, maintaining the Integrated Management System, reporting on HSE performance indicators, and supporting project managers. I also contributed to maintaining ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and MASE certifications through regulatory monitoring and internal audits. Strong performance and smooth integration led to a renewed second-year placement with increased autonomy and greater collaboration with project managers, particularly junior profiles.

Bachelors Degree of Science for Engineering (SPI) (NZQCF Level 7) | 2018 – 2021

·       Specialisation: Materials for Electronics and Energy
